Depth, Not Trends

Most homes don't feel right - even when everything in them is "nice".

You followed the references. You made considered purchases. And yet the room still doesn't quite cohere.

That gap - between a space that looks correct and one that feels genuinely yours - is exactly where I work.

I'm Eva Winter, founder of Flux Studio.

I've spent a decade in the art world developing a precise understanding of how objects, colour, and composition shape the way a space feels. That expertise now informs everything I do as an art and interiors consultant - helping clients across the UK create homes that are not just well-furnished, but deeply considered.

My practice sits at the intersection of original art and interior design. The two are inseparable: a room without art lacks a point of view, and art without its spatial context is only half the conversation. I work across both because the result demands it.

The work itself is specific.

Translating a builder-grade shell into something with genuine character. Identifying - and trusting - an aesthetic that is distinctly yours rather than borrowed from elsewhere. Placing Art so it anchors a room rather than simply occupying a wall. Designing spaces that feel calm, considered, and quietly beautiful in a way you perhaps didn't think was possible.

I've relocated more times than most, which has sharpened my ability to read a space quickly, make decisive choices, and avoid the costly detours that come from working without a clear eye.

"Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful."

- William Morris

I hold both to the same standard.

On working together:

I work collaboratively and without prescription. The aim is never to impose a look, but to draw out what you already respond to - and build something around it that exceeds what you thought was possible in your home.

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply unsure where to start, you're in exactly the right place. Most of my clients arrive knowing something is missing; they leave with a home that feels like it was always meant to look this way.

I take on a focused number of projects at any one time, working remotely and in person across the UK.
